Oregon plans we compare
What’s different about health insurance in Oregon.
Every state runs its individual market a little differently. These are the rules that matter most if you buy your own coverage here.
Read the Oregon FAQ- Oregon now has its own enrollment site, Explore Health. Starting with 2027 coverage, you no longer enroll through HealthCare.gov.
- Open enrollment for 2027 runs November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 31 for a January 1 start.
- PacificSource and Providence are leaving the individual market for 2027, and Moda is leaving eight counties.
- OHP Bridge gives free coverage to adults with income up to 200% of the federal poverty level.
- Every insurer offers Oregon Standard plans, which include three $5 office visits before the deductible.
- Short-term plans are capped at three months in Oregon, including renewals.
However you got here, there’s a better plan than the first one you were offered.
