Six insurance companies sold individual plans in Arkansas for 2026, all part of two groups: Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield (with Health Advantage and Octave) and Centene's Ambetter from Arkansas Health & Wellness. Approved 2026 rates rose an average of 22.2%. For 2027, two Centene companies did not file rates, so check your options during open enrollment.

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, its affiliates Health Advantage and Octave, and Ambetter from Arkansas Health & Wellness (Centene). Ambetter plans are written through Celtic Insurance Company, QCA Health Plan and QualChoice Life and Health.
Centene's QCA Health Plan filed 2027 rates, but two other Centene companies, Celtic Insurance Company and QualChoice Life and Health, did not. Centene is also leaving the ARHOME Medicaid expansion program in 2027. If you have Ambetter coverage, review your 2027 options during open enrollment.
Proposed 2027 increases ranged from 3.1% to 15.9%, much smaller than the 2026 increases. These were proposals, and final approved rates appear when open enrollment begins.
